Kelaniyangoda a pioneer in plant pathological science is a contributor in wide rage  of local and international projects, researches and novel findings. Born in September  30th, 1954 and studied at Kalutara MahaVidayalaya, Sri Lanka and graduated in Martin Luther University, Germany specializing in Plant Pathology.

   Awards and Honors

  • Under the technical supervision of AGPP and the overall supervision of TCOR and the FAO Representative in Sri Lanka and Maldives undertook me for the Investigation of Banana Disease In Kashidoo Island Rep. of Maldives (17th Nov. -30th Nov. 1997) and submitted a comprehensive report to the this organization on the field and Laboratory investigation and recommended the remedial measures to prevent and control of the above disease.
